I have not done it for a few years now, and stuff has been going on that is pulling to do it.
I do not control it when I do and wind up at ER or DR office for stitches.
They treat me ok and do not give me the third degree, we mainly talk about why.
I do not want to but the urge is strong and not going away.
I want the release the pain the numb the high.
I have mentioned to doc and he isnt jumping up and down about it so it makes me feel like what the hell go for it.

Well... I guess there are worse things in the world. But cutting, as well as other self-harm activities, come with their own risks. I don't know why your doc isn't jumping up-&-down. Perhaps he's just decided that if you're going to do it you're going to do it, & realistically there's nothing he can do about it so he's not going to give you a hard time about it. I personally don't think that's a good reason for going ahead & doing it though. So my hope is that you can find a way not to go back to doing it. (If it helps... consider me to be jumping up-&-down...)
