So I haven't SI'd in 1 year, 21 days. I recently was playing with my puppy and she scratched my arm and my mom came home and asked me what happened to my arm and I told her. The thing is, she knows about my past SI's (though she doesn't know about the last time I did it.) and I got the feeling she didn't believe me when I told her about our puppy scratching me. Every day she keeps asking me what happened to my arm the same way she asks me things to get me to tell her the truth and every day i tell her the same thing. What I want to know, is how do I get her to stop asking me about the same injury?

That is frustrating. Especially when someone close to you doesn't believe you, or reads you incorrectly. I can't think of a way that would make her stop asking you... But possibly you could tell her exactly what you're thinking? Like, "Mom, you've been asking me often the same question about what happened to my arm. It's been bothering me that you don't seem to believe me when I tell you the truth. I've been trying hard and doing well in my recovery. It would really mean a lot if you believed me and believed in me." Of course, maybe not those exact words

I think falsememory7 had some good advice. It was said very well. I was thinking kind of the same thing, just like not in the same words but just saying to your mom that it isn't a SI injury.
