Self Injury Simple Answers to Complex Questions Alexian Brothers Center for Self-Injury Recovery.

I ordered it on Amazon today. Anyone read it? Is it worthwhile? I hate books that are too simplistic so I am a little worried about the title but it is supposed to be a good book. Hope it is helpful.

Thanks. I should get it this weekend. I will try to start it. I can be a slow reader sometimes. But if something grabs my attention I stay with it. If it is helpful I will try to remember to come back here and post on it. At least it wasn't that expensive of a book.

It seemed pretty clinic-y to me. Like it might be more suited for a therapist. I didn't read the whole thing but there were parts that were talking about like when to hospitalize, when to do residential treatment, when to do, PHP, when to do IOP, when to do outpatient therapy stuff like that. Made me feel bad because most of the time that I self harmed I would have fallen in their hospitalization or residential treatment category. That depressed me to no end.
