I'm doing alright. I am having some urges today to self harm. It's only been 15 days so I can't give in. I gotta stay strong. Trying to get myself distracted! How about you? How are you doing?

HUGS @willowtigger (if okay) I'm sorry you think you are a scum bag. I don't know you but I don't believe that of you. Here you are asking others how they are. That shows you are kind and concerned about others. Certainly not a scum bag. Don't listen to those thoughts. I'm glad you are snuggling with kitty cat. I have two kitties myself, Amelia Jayne a rescued snowshoe mix and Helen Rose a rescued Tuxedo. Amelia is really skittish and likes to be by herself but if she is in her bed she likes being petted. Helen is more of the ham and likes to be petted but sometimes she will sit with me. Sometimes she likes to sit in her perch on top of her castle which she is the queen of. They are both cutie pies. Why don't you tell me about your kitties? --Kit

i got two kitties, younger one (on my lap) is black and white, she's a rescue, owner handed her in when she had a baby and Willow (may as well put their names) wasnt able to deal with being around a kid, she needed a child free home, ideally she wouldnt be around kids at all, cause she pins her ears back and yowls at them if she sees any playing outside, there is a worry she may lash out at them thinking she's defending herself against a imaginary threat
Willow cannot deal with other animals either, the rescue wanted her to go to a home with no other pets but nobody was taking her so instead of keeping her in a cage for her whole life they figured "best try her with the home that has come forward for her" and she never went back

She accepted Tigger though and they happily wash each other

Older cat tabby Tigger is also a rescue, she was emotionally neglected so even years after her owner agreed for her to get rehomed, she still frets and worries and clings to her meowmy even when i'm on the toilet or in the bath she feels the need to be nearby just in case her meowmy gets ate by the bath or the toilet

i cant even have a Zoom meeting with anyone cause Tigger gets desperate and climbs on me and clings to me just in case the Zoom screen eats me up , she's more like a dog than a cat, she gets so worried, she even frets when i go to work and she'll follow me to the door and give me the pleading "please dont abandon me" look, then when i get home from work she acts as if she cant believe i'm home - she been like this since adoption in 2014
i hope i havent just risked tabby getting stole by posting their names, people where i live will steal pets to get the money that some pet insurance places will pay out for if a pet goes missing

cause both girls answer to their names - Tigger all the time, Willow if she feels like it

Amelia answers to her name sometimes and Helen answers to her name when she feels like it. I have so many nicknames for Amelia though so that might be why she only sometimes comes when I call her.

Thanks for telling me about your kitties. I can tell that you are a good cat Mum. You are definitely not a scum bag. You care about those kitties and they care about you! Helen follows me to the toilet as well. She is patient when I am in the shower but she wants to be right there when I get out. It's cute. Amelia is indoor/outdoor and she mostly spends her time outdoors. She can come and go as she pleases as we have doggy doors for her to go through but she mostly appreciates being outside. I have three beds for her outside. One is in the garage and is very protected and then the other two are outside outside where she can be in the sun (I live in the desert) or she can be in the shade. So she has lots of options. Helen is a housecat which I would prefer them both to be but it's out of my hands. She has a castle that she likes to climb on and lay on and that takes up a great deal of the living room. She is queen of the castle! Lol. She is lovely. They both are!
