I have had a history of factitious disorder and borderline personality. I have been diagnosed (for real) bipolar 1 disorder (mixed features) with psychosis when unmedicated after suffering from a traumatic brain injury in 2016. That is when I started to look around myself and ask myself how I got that way. God held up a mirror and I didn't like what I saw.

You are welcome to message me or ask any questions about recovering from this. It is possible and there is always hope.

It takes courage to write what you wrote, about the factitious disorder. Welcome to the community!
