I stop cutting. Its been quite awhile since I have cut. Last week I was with a new counselor doing the standard interview and I was explaining how its been a long time and how at first it was frequent and I've slowly gone longer and longer periods without.

She asked what I did to not do it. But I have no idea. I don't really do anything. I still have urges and some are very strong. But I don't know what stops me. I also don't know what happens or triggers me past the urge to the actual act.

(((((((((((((unpredictable)))))))))))))))

Not SIng for a while - good job! I don't get why... Sometimes I don't understand why I stopped either. One day the urge wasn't really there. I have bad days when the urge is there... but I hold off.

Perhaps this is a positive step any way you look at it? Do you know how you feel about cutting, how you feel about not having done it for some time? Maybe that way will get you to an answer.

Even if it doesn't, at least you're taking good care of yourself.
