i looked up emos because i think that emos are rediculas. that we shouldnt be related with emos. and its wrong. its a style, and attitude. not an action.
anyways....
i looked it up. and i see all these videos and messages on myspace that say emos are horrable because they are cutters. and cutters are losers. or all this bad talk about cutters. and mean jokes. and i am offended by all of this. non of us should be called losers. non of us should be called selfish. non of us should be called self centerd. non of us should be the joke. we are struggiling with a bad habbit/addiction/illness. and it is not right.
its mostly teenagers. they dont understand. they dont want to understand, and they never will understand.
We are good people. We are nice people, we have feelings. and this triggers. And I am pissed.
Thanks for this!

I agree, I hate it when people say that it's gross. It's not gross, it's not "emo", and I hate when people feel sorry for us. I haven't cut myself in almost two weeks, and I'm proud of it. But I still have the scars, and I'm not sorry one bit that I went through this - still am going through it.

yeah to both of you for not cutting

there will always be people who dont understand who either think we are to be pitied or shunned as some sort of freak - we know who we are - we know the pain that pushed us to hurt ourselves and the self control and healing that has to happen to change that.

you should both be proud of yourselves for not cutting for so long - I am proud of you both

why do you think emos are ad and ppl who should not be related to them? Let's imagine a teenager who cuts, maybe joining emo group makes it better for him/her, makes it easier in a way? You don't have to explain things about scars, you're emo and you might find ppl who will understand you ad your cutting. Maybe it's not that if you're emo, you cut, maybe it's the other way around, if you cut, you might want to become emo.
