Not here in America. They just try to get rid of us as fast as possible in the good paying fulfilling jobs. Yes u can be a masters level degreed Wal-Mart greeter at minimum wage but nothing else. We have no value to the American corporations.

Well age discrimination is alive and well. I just lost a promotion. I have two times of education, experience and skills and still lost. I now have to work under a person 1/2 of my age with less of everything than me. I do not even know how to deal with this. I have worked with him as a co-worker for 5 years. He has made numerous bad comments about OLD people so I know I am on my way out. He will find anything to take care of this PROBLEM he sees.

I'm sorry to hear about this, but am not surprised. I got booted out last year. My heart goes out to you.
