Hi Angelique,
I am sorry you are uncomfortable in the nursing home. I think it would be a hard place to live. But I'm happy you can get on the internet and connect with people. I am more in the empty nester stage and I have been missing the kid routines lately. I sort of flop around also and do chores to entertain myself.

Yes, it's very weird living here. There's no privacy and I'm a very private, interior focused person. I don't join in really in the daily activities. I mainly just watch YouTube videos and read in my room.

I used to have nightmares where my apartment would be filled with strangers who wouldn't leave. Now I'm living that.

I'm sorry you flop around I never had kids so I can only imagine how hard it must be to have to adjust to not being needed in certain ways, and just the whole and completely different empty nest situation.
