I remember going into a drug store that had a lunch counter/grill. I would get a grilled cheese sandwich and a Coke. YUM! And the floors were wooden and there were big fans hanging from the ceiling that provided the "air conditioning."

My first flight, aged 11.
Years later, still getting a buzz watching aircraft landing, taking off or just cruising through the air on a bright sunny day. Possibly one of very few females writing a blog for a spotters website! |

Spending the day on the lake with my cousins. Practicing tipping the canoe over, emptying it out and getting back in from on the water. Playing board games on the dock. Swimming competitions to the island and back.
