Does that make me a senior? I don't feel like a senior. I'm not even a grandmother. I feel like I'm 30 on the inside. I think I look 45. That's if I color my hair. Lol!
What's your internal age?

Happy Birthday Deilla. To answer your questions, AARP says anyone over 50 is concerned with senior issues. But they also want more subscribers so you cannot depend on that.
The senior center says 60 or 62 is a senior. To get the senior discount in restaurants, 65 is the typical age. No one knows for sure what age a senior is ![]()

Happy birthday
![]() Mostly in America 55 has been regarded as the bench mark. And at the local restaurant sand grocery stores 55 is the age to start getting discounts. But many places have recently upped it to 62 because the baby boomers pushed a huge influx of seniors on business. Senior homes used to be 55 and up are now 62 and up. They had to have someway of narrowing the wait lists.

Happy Belated Birthday, Deilla! Enjoy not feeling like a senior as long as you can. Some days I feel ancient.

Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. Yea, when I turned 50, AARP started sending me stuff. And prior to the pandemic, I wanted to go to the senior center and participate in activities. It seemed like the best option for me since I struggle with being alone. But I wasn't sure if they would let me participate because of my age. Maybe once the pandemic is over with, I can see about going there again.
@Marie123, that's great you feel 18. I feel like a very wise 30-year-old. Lol!

Happy birthday, Deilla. I recently turned 65, so now I'm officially a senior citizen. On most days I feel younger than my age. Between 55 and 65, I had a hard time determining whether I was a senior citizen or not, because different businesses had different standards for determining who is a senior citizen. I don't need to ask about that anymore.
