When big Transitions happen can knock me flat....
Are there practical reasonable
Ways to hold the tensions?
My body, seems to freeze, and shut down, taking a toll on health and life.

I can't really say I have hope. Everything just is what it is & I get up every day & do what needs to be done. Going for walks with our dog can sometimes be a stress reliever. But it can also be a stress inducer, depending on how things go. I like to listen to quiet relaxing music. There's some wonderful long-playing stuff on YouTube.

Lately, when I wake up in the morning and I see that students have signed up for classes (especially the ones I have already taught before). Also, after teaching, I feel great about the experience.

When I am tense, walking, housework, pills or watching funny movies/TV shows sometimes helps. I noticed that talking about what makes me tense makes it worse.

kids walking out for the sake of a global issue, the squad just for adding texture to the potential dialogue, and, of course, the cat who has no timetable or apparent need to explain itself. (and my kids, and their kids)...

What brings me hope is a loving family that is there for me when I'm sick.
