I tried to get a free COVID test yesterday but must have hit the wrong key. I couldn't get it to work! COVID is making the rounds of my sister's church further west in NC.

Oh, that’s too bad, I had no problem with the site.

Oo I heard NCIS got hit hard by the hurricane, I hope that doesn’t exacerbate covid for their area.

What is NCIS here? The only meaning I can find is the TV show, which I LOVE BTW along with a couple of spin offs: Los Angeles and New Orleans.

That was supposed to be NC,….North Carolina! I didn’t notice the spell check gremlins changing it!

Ladies, is anyone still having hot flashes more than 10 years after menopause? I'm not posting in the women's forum because that one, like many others, just isn't busy anymore.

I just get them occasionally but I thought I was done with all that hormonal crap!

Same here. And I did notice that it is the first morsel that tastes the best anyway. Sweets, if you keep eating them, do not taste as good after a few bites. At least not to me.

On Americas Next Top Model, they said thats what models do, have one bite. I tried it at the last baby shower i went to, it was a buffet. My plate looked like a painter's pallet, it was tasty! Then my mother pushed her giant bowl of orange jello cream salad at me and said, "Finish this! I dont like it!" Yes. And then she complains im fat. It was disheartening. I couldnt stand up to her.

It is so sad when we as mature enough adults cannot stand up to our parents as if we were still little, deeply hurt kids.
