Cortisone Injection (Corticosteroid Injection)
I've had a bunch over the years. I haven't found them to be all that great. |

Pictures of Poisonous Products in Your Home and How to Stay Safe
I can't even get into my package of Tide detergent pods. They're made it too hard to get into. I know not to eat them, and i have no kids around. Sigh. |

This is my latest shocking information
Health Benefits Of Donating Blood | BRMS Blood donation is really good for the person donating. And 1. they test your blood for like 10 different issues for free (that your doctor doesn't test) and 2. if you donate to research they will pay you. |

My ankles are swollen from med for high blood pressure. I take a diuretic, but it helps only a little bit. Thanks for the article, Trav. __________________ |

I have concerns about my skin. I baked myself in the sun from the time I was a child until I was in my 20's. I had so many blistering sunburns I couldn't possibly count them (I am fair-skinned with green eyes). Whenever I have pointed out something of concern on my skin my GP totally blows me off. I would like to get checked out by a dermatologist, but I need a referral from my GP. The situation is awkward at best, dangerous at worst. I really don't know what to do. __________________ |

Not to freak everyone out but I did want to mention that something you should check for is under your toes. Yes you can get it there and it doesn't look like a mole, it looks like a bruise. A couple of years back I had to have my nail ripped off (wasn't that painful and shockingly grew back fast) and a biopsy done because a great nurse noticed it. Alas, turned out to be a bruise (because my shoes were too tight). |
