Well, she went to her GP and the doctor tested her for this and that. Eventually my daughter found out that her vitamin D level was so low that her GP was considering hospitalizing her.

N. was prescribed a large daily dose of vitamin D and instructed to sit in the sun every day at 10 a.m., for 10 minutes. She followed the instructions and her health improved within a month.

I was a '70's sun worshiper, burned and tanned all summer, every summer. That worries me, now. But I believe there's a happy medium. Never exposing ourselves to the sun cannot possibly be healthy.
Hear hear! I agree.

If you've posted it before I've read it before, but I don't remember it either

Anyway, good article! The one about 80 year old women enjoying sex gave me a giggle, though.

I chose to go gray a number of years ago. And actually I still have some brown hair, even though I'm 65. I don't like the chemicals used in parlors to dye hair and I am too lazy to use those rinses. I'm earned every gray hair and I'm showing them off!
I stopped trying to hide my gray years ago because it just got too expensive. And the roots grow in so fast, the upkeep is just a pain.

Odd, but I get MORE compliments on my salt and pepper hair than my dyed reddish/brown hair. People under 30 call me "ma'am" and are very polite, even giving up their seat on the bus for me. That didn't happen with my dyed hair, LOL.

I'll be 60 in a few months, but even with gray hair people say I don't look it.

Yeah, Trav, that gray hair shows all the life wisdom we have right? And so do those crows feet around my eyes.

I used to get Happy Meals at McDonald's all the time, but I don't know if they still do it, plus I don't eat junk like that anymore, LOL. And I doubt if you eat it too. I also used to like to collect the toys that came with them.

Some places won't let you get a kid's meal unless you have a kid with you. Really I don't know why since you're paying for it regardless. Why should they care if an adult eats it?

Years ago I was at some place that wouldn't let me order a kid's meal cause I was "too old". Ha Ha. I'm decades older now.

I've ordered kids' meals sometimes in the past. I think anyone should be able to buy them.

I eat the skin of most fruits/veggies I like, except for oranges (too bitter) and watermelon (which I haven't had in years since one melon is too much for one person. I never ate the rinds though)

I like bananas but never ate the skin. I see now I'm "supposed" to or "should" but I don't since it's so thick and hard to chew.

Pretty much I eat what I want, how I want. Food won't be enjoyable anymore if I listen to what the experts say. I'm sure most people don't eat the recommended servings of fruits/veggies a day.

Also, they are getting so damn expensive. The drought here in the West has affected produce prices, I've noticed.
