Yeah, me too. Or I misplace it. I know I wrote it down but where did I put that? It's not where it should/would be so where did I put it? Right now I can't find the info I collected on this shoe repair place. I'm sure I didn't throw it out.

Speaking of forgetting,......

Brain Foods That May Help Prevent Dementia

I've heard that grape joice (what kind, though?) is as good as wine..... I love cheese, so I hate the limitation.

I too love cheese and have tried to cut back because of how fatty it is. It’s so hard to eat healthy as healthy stuff doesn’t taste great and honestly I don’t enjoy food as much, constantly being told what to eat. And I can’t lose the weight I gained, part of it from Covid lockdowns and part of it age. I also love chocolate.

I hate celery and carrots which is what I’m supposed to snack on! I made carrots slightly more tolerable by cooking them and sprinkling them with cinnamon. But still gross. Ugh… Exercise is a chore now.

I have very bad side effects to most meds (even benedryl) so I mostly stay away from everything to avoid side effects. Md's hate me because there is nothing they prescribe that I can take. Have gone toward naturalist treatments at this point in my life

Found that out when my Calif pdoc told me to take Omega-3 EPA for depression.....it works BUT you have to buy fresh, good quality for it to work. DHA works great for brain function & heart but same, fresh, good quality & that ALWAYS costs more but would rather spend more money on that then waste money on big pharma drugs that cause me horrible side effects.

I have to watch what I eat because otherwise I want a nap after breakfast, lunch & dinner & my life doesn't let me do that. I eat lots of protein given fresh eggs, fresh meat. It gets old feeling like a nap when things have to get done

I don't like olive oil and am tired of it being pounded into our brains to use it. Turmeric is something I don't eat either, nor any kind of beans. I won't eat stuff I hate, had enough of it as a kid.

I learned long ago that many supplements we buy OTC don't have the catalist in them to make them absorbe into out body so they just go right through without any benefit. Lol....I am too lazy to figure out what each supplement needs to make it work & that would just make it way too expensive. I have just gotten to the point where my healthy mostly farm fresh foods will just have to do & all the herbs & spices I use for seasoning. I take an allergy med when I can't stop sneezing use organic mullein tea when I have congestion, a good vit C until that runs out & at 70, just not taking anything to mess up my body otherwise. Lol....my retired PA & my other retired pharmacist friends think oh my gosh at all the horrible reactions I have & really don't understand why I totally avoid medical MD'S & find natural care specialists who know all the things that work together to make supplements work in the body.

The Worst Shoes for Your Feet

I never wore high heels. Men design women's shoes and even looking at lots of those shoes, I can tell they're not healthy to wear.

I did when much younger and paid the price for it years later with so many foot problems: Bunions, hammertoes, and heel/calf pain. I cringe when I think how I used to wear not just the high heels but pointed in the toe area, squeezing my toes and hence causing bunions years later. I went through months of physical therapy and getting orthotics and spending money on certain types of shoes too.

The problem returned years later and I went through it again. I've been okay since.

I'm not surprised men invented them. They make our legs look better. They also invented the bra and probably corsets and girdles. Seems a symbolic way to restrict women.

Now I couldn't walk in them at all. Comfort is the most important thing to me now, not with just shoes but clothes too. I have just one pair of low heel pumps for any fancy occasion which unfortunately hasn't happened.

Lol....I never wore shoes that weren't comfortable. I was never into "looks". Too active in sports & outdoor activities. Maybe a blessing in disguise.

HOWEVER....I can tell you that 4 years after my horse stepped on my foot there is still an uncomfortable feeling. My foot got swollen & black & blue but nothing broken. No pain but probably some nerve damage in the ball of my foot & a few of my middle toes. Yep, she had never seen cows before she arrived on my farm & she was worried about them when I was holding her for the ferrier. Even good boots didn't protect my foot when she stood on it.

Thank you. It doesn't slow me down but at night after having muck boots on or shoes all day, that foot reminds me it was stepped on

I have another reason, recent covid shot. Only lasted a day or two but my hands tingled after I got the shots.
