I keep forgetting to use senior discounts. I just got told today by everyone in the poker club that they didn’t believe I’m going to be 65. They thought I was around 50. So obviously if I don’t ask for it I’m not going to get it! But I’m not a big spender, except for this time of year when I start buying Christmas gifts.

I’m lucky my daughter and I have similar interests and taste so she likes the things I have. I got rid of most “stuff” when I moved and what I do have she likes. All of us kids liked a lot of my mum’s stuff. We divided up nicely tho. I got the lamps I loved, they are antiques and the wiring has been redone. My oldest sister got the small antique tables. Yet we had a whole houseful of stuff we sold and donated. I read a blurb not long ago that said nobody wants the baby boomers stuff!
