how do people deal with this?
when I was younger, (I mean kid young), my memory was exilent- so much so I could remember entire blocks of information for hours few years down the line, I got my mental health diagnoses and the medications played with my memory, making it weaker and weaker now, age is playing with it too, and I feel like my memory is.. well, not even half of what it was. I try to be patient with it, but being patient is not a strong point of mine and I do quite often shouting at myself.. like come on em, you do remember this then I don't remember, and I just stand there crying. it's happening daily now and, well I just wonder how you all cope- and also what your memories were like when you were younger I think because I had such a sharp memory, and now I don't, it's affecting me more because I'm not ready to lose it |
