I had the odds stacked heavily against me. My bipolar, alcoholic, sex-addicted, porn-addicted dad did not intend to expose me to pornography. But he failed to put the porn away and it was easy for me to get at it from the time I was five years old. I responded to the porn even though I was only five, by getting an erection and trying to mastrbate, even though I didn't really know how to.
When I was molested at age 12, I once again was sexualized and I started mastrbating more often.
When I was 35 I realized I had a problem with porn addiction and mastrbation and using women for sex. I tried to stop. I did slow down considerably. I stopped using women and became celibate and I stopped looking at pornography. I still mastrbated a few times a year.

Wow.

How exactly did you 'slow down' and stop. Was it all will-power? Did you replace the urges with anything?
