So, a little recap. I started sexting and having sex with random men several times a week. I just couldn't stop thinking about it or doing it. I did have periods of luck quitting.
FF a month or so, I decided it was dumb to give it away for free. I joined a sugar daddy website and had my first date. It was a GREAT time, much better than meet and bang. I'm going to his place Thursday and Friday. I've backed out of three dates. I don't know WTH is wrong with me. I have two dates scheduled this week. Why can't I stop with the men☹️ |

I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time with this. There's really nothing I can contribute to it. However I noticed no one had yet replied to your post. So I thought I would. Here are links to 3 articles, from Psych Central's archives, 2 on the subject of sex addiction in general that provide links to additional articles on the subject & one on how sex addiction in women is different from men:
An Overview of Sexual Addiction & Sex Addicts What Causes Sexual Addiction? How are Female Sex Addicts Different from Males? __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go." Thank you for the pity response. I didn't expect much advise. Reading some past threads show disdain and a feeling that this isn't a legitimate mental disorder. Maybe it's not, I think it's only made it easier to dismiss being that I'm female. I did read one of the articles that you suggested so thank you.
