Hi Everyone

I am 37 year old woman and have been sex addict since past 20 years. I have had many failed relationships due to my addiction and have never been in a stable relationship. for long

Everytime i try to build a new relationship from scratch, it crumbles as soon as men come to know about my addiction and cannot keep up with my libido.

I look at women my age in stable loving relationships and I wish I could be them.

I wish someday I can recover from my addiction.

Regards
N

Hey nagda, I'm sorry you feel like there's something you cannot attain in your personal relationship with others due to your (sex) addiction. I guess the fact that you miss it and see it as a problem means you're aware of it and that's always half the answer. I suffer from exactly the opposite: my OCD has given me much trouble in (the morality of) sex matters and my libido has always suffered, except in counted exceptions with some gf's I've felt very close to. So there you go, too much or too few of something always poses a problem in matters of the mind.

I'm not aware on how medicine does address your issue, but I wish you luck and send you my best wishes. Tc.

Hey there nagda.

Yes, sorry you're suffering through your addiction too. Very disruptive to the self and often to others too, yes. They always say addiction has underlying causes and so that being the case, I think therapy/counseling would really help you to shed light on solutions and pathways, enabling you to begin a new journey of change. I really do.

All the best and it's great you're reaching out. Fantastic.🙏
