okay...just to add...was so tired last evening but just to add:
still not able to upload art pieces, must be a different part does that...

This experience sounds like a somewhat similar experience we had. Back then, recently having devoted my like to God and living as holy a life as I knew to be possible there came across my life...something similar although less graphic or maybe less visual...not wanting every memory back that vividly...enough said.

This experience was not within the control of myself, as I knew self to be then.

Seems shortly thereafter there came a speaker or conference and they spoke of incubi and succubi. Fear infiltrated my being. I had been a good person. Umm, there were sessions to sign up for...ummm, taking authority, or casting out or some such and the like.

Name of speaker is on tip of my tongue but ....hmmm, nope...not yet..

found it: Neil Anderson but this is only for believers, we are pretty sure (well no, not sure but just to say it because we have no expectation of anyone trying to go this route)

Early child SA had also contributed to this, we are sure.

convinced that this abuse/neglect perpetrated upon us made the later experience possible (would like to know more people who think this too). When children are harmed, and later embrace some deity (in my case Christianity) they are vulnerable to these dark spirits. People do damage bringing people to some god encounter naively, that is why we do not prosyltyze, they think they know but they lack knowledge. My assumption, they want the accolades. There is a time for everything, afterall.

.....so much to say...but no, this should be safe to talk about, here, in this thread. *sigh*

INCUBUS - A spirit or demon thought in medieval times to lie on sleeping persons, especially women, with whom it sought sexual intercourse.

SUCCUBUS - In folklore, a female demon thought to have sexual intercourse with sleeping men.

Above definitions came from Webster's Dictionary.

hmmm...if this is what they were, they did get removed as far as we can tell... .

This subject matter had not crossed my mind....

...however when it happened there were no female leadership to go to in my church, only men. We didn't go to them, thank goodness, another temptation to blamed upon woman.

Thank you so much for the designs. "though I go to the depths of sheoul, even there your hand will guide me" We feel that hell.

Malady, your works of art are making 'it' tolerable...they are contained within the space of form, colour, shape, size and time...the ones that are uncontained are still in my head or the heads of the grownup children around me.

this verse has been terribly altered in the NIV (to protect the guilty, the perps) but here it is non-the-less: "if I make my bed in the depths, you are there "

Thanks for the courage to post and i thank me too.

Granted courage to post one more...The Hive
