I am 16 and I really would like to be in a relationship, but I'm not sure if that is because society has implanted the idea into my head or because I really do want to have a significant other. Either way, I hate talking about my feelings about people I like. So much that I am unable to admit if I find someone attractive or not (which, from what I've seen, most people do often and do so casually). I think it is because of my repulsion toward teenage girl stereotypes.
Also, the main reasons I would like to be in a relationship is because of the physical contact. Is this wrong? |

Hi Semlor,
I know how rough it can be to be shy and a teenager, I was very shy as one, I never dated in high school and while at the time I was unhappy about it looking back now I know i made the right decision for me. I think a lot more teenagers, and just people in general are shy about admitting feelings or an attraction towards someone, it's a hard thing to do sometimes. If yo want to be in a relationship for physical reasons only, I really recommend you wait, relationships are very draining emotionally at times, and it goes with the physical. It is good you are very well aware of what you want and why you want it, it shows you are a very insightful ![]() Pm anytime you need to talk Typo |
