I am straight who often fantasizes about jacking off with my best guy friend. Is that normal? I often feel disgusted about thoughts like these because he is my best friend or so to speak.

Hi Johno

What your describing is incredibly normal. You would be amazed at how common these thoughts/activities occur. Girls and boys will often explore with same sex friends first before pursueing a life partner in the opposite sex. Doesn't mean your gay it's part of the process of exploring your sexuality. Most people will go onto heterosexual relationships. So don't worry it's normal.
Thanks for this!

I've had a couple of guys tell me about how they would masturbate in the same room with their friend to porn. So I guess it is quite common.

And just because it's fantasy thinking doesn't mean you have to act on it. Fantasy thinking isn't harmful unless it interferes with your everyday life. imo/jme

I too have had this fantasy and it has troubled me as well. I have finally come to the conclusion that it is not a problem as long as I don't act on it. It makes me feel better to know that this is common. I was unaware of that.
