Hi!

I've been comfortable with my gender at home long before my daughter was born, and never once has she asked, "Why is Daddy wearing a dress?" And I dress fairly "normally" in front of her friends. So far so good.

But she's thirteen and she must soon become aware of her own sexuality. I'm afraid that things might change.

Still, I've got things pretty easy compared with some people here.

How does it feel when some kid from next door asks yours, "How come you've got two Dads?"

And how do you reply when your daughter says, "I'm bringing my boyfriend round and I haven't told him about [Mum's female partner]. I don't know if I can face that. Anyway, what am I going to say?"
