That's a lot of effort and knowledge, seems like you know what you are doing. Good job.

Before I continue untwisting the distorted beliefs found in the previous posts, I would like to present a few counter-beliefs of my own! Here are five reasons not to assume that women have it worse than men. These strongly imply that I am not some evil misogynist in league with other men to oppress women. In fact, they imply that the opposite is the fact. I am getting a bad deal BECAUSE I am male and males are valued less than females. If anyone is being "oppressed" then it's me.
1. Birth-control If a woman gets pregnant she can abort the baby or keep it entirely according to her own will. The man has no say over what happens to the child and he still has to take care of it for 18 years if she decides to have it. This could easily ruin his life. 2. Prostate Cancer Each year the number of male deaths to prostate cancer is about 72% as high as female deaths from breast cancer. However, in 2007 the National Cancer Institute (which provided 6 billion for cancer research), only spent 84 cents per death on prostate cancer for each dollar per death spent on breast cancer. 3. Domestic Violence Women are slightly more likely to initiate violence in a relationship (most violent relationships are reciprocal), and much more likely to use a deadly weapon. Nevertheless, in many states the man has to be arrested BY LAW in a domestic violence call from the police. The woman is presumed to be innocent when she is more likely to be GUILTY. 4. Child Custody Divorce courts usually award custody of the children to the mother no matter how much more qualified the father may be. The consequences for his relationship with the children can be devastating. 5. Divorce Settlements Men with means are often made to pay out huge stipends to their ex-wives each year as part of the settlement. Women with means are almost never required to.
