You would think I'm disgusting and insane but I don't shave myself there, nothing would force me to do so. I warned my partner and he didn't seem to mind it that much. I don't force my man to shave his private parts, so I expect the same from him.

It's only a problem when you get hair in your teeth

@Likewater: I'm a guy, but I swear I cringed when I read yours. OW.
Unrelated note...need to figure out how to work the "quote" feature. At any rate, no...largely because I fear anything sharp around...well, you figure it out. __________________ The world suffers alot. I can't let it get longer than 1 or 2mm before I have issues with itching. Hair doesn't get along well with silky underwear either.... I couldn't care less about my husband's choice on the matter. If he wants to, great. If not, no oral. LOL

I am 100% shaved. I feel like I can get stimulated more sexually being shaved, whether it be from my husband or while using my vibrator.

I guess my boyfriend and I like it natural, not shaven .. I used to trim but I don't even do that anymore because I am so sensitive down there, that whenever the hair starts growing back, it gets soooo itchy.

So how does this mesh with the new Men In Beards trend? e.g., a recent article in nytimes, and Joe Buck just said during the baseball game for men to conserve water by growing a beard! I thought, they shave everything else, but should leave the face? Really?? BTW, Joe Buck always looks EXTREMELY shiny and well groomed himself...

Well, personally I give myself a trim sometimes to keep the jungle in some sort of order, but I am not the least bit interested in torturing myself with waxing or anything to remove all the hair. And I like my husband exactly the way he is, and the idea of his doing any shaving below the belt line has never even crossed my mind.

I did laser hair removal- total brazillian. Best money I ever spent. Perfectly smooth with none of the symptoms of waxing or shaving (ingrown hairs, itching, etc). My girlfriend and I both prefer everything to be gone.

I did laser hair removal to remove just the hair that would have been visible in a swimsuit. It was nicely done. Other than that, I just trim. I prefer men with hair but without is OK, too.

A clip and a trim for me. It does inhance things. My man, it's his stuff to do w/ as he pleases. He agrees not a good place for anything sharp.
Though there is nothing less appealing then a fur ball. As for beards, go for it unless you plan on eating out. A lunch date w/ sand paper, no thanks. Hope that was not to rude. Sorry. I loved the hare picture. It's is nice to have a good laugh before the day ends. I have smiled more in the past 5 min then I have all week. Thanks. |

Okay, I admit, I am a trimmer. (Pubic hair can get dry.) There is a safe way to trim using a comb and a scissor. It's a techinique you see barbers use where the comb is used between the skin and the scissor.
Also, as a hirsute man, a great trick is to use hair conditioner down there while showering. In fact, when my skin is dry all over (as in the wintertime), I use hair conditioner all over when in the shower. It's easy and effective, and beats applying gloopy skin conditioners after showering. |

Shaving it and having it regrow back is such a hassle, and I have yet to try waxing, but that's definitely going to be attempted only if I know for sure a man can be there to appreciate it. There's no point in shaving if there's no boyfriend. But as a feminist, I am offended to feel the need to shave for a man...Why can't they shave!? I'm going to make my future bf shave his legs...nasty. ^__^
