I'd like to hear what you all have to say about shaving and/or waxing of the pubic regions. I must admit to LOVING the smooth feeling of both my own and that of my wife. My wife, though, likes hers smooth but not mine. Thoughts?

I like it trimmed but not totally gone on others and on myself. Completely shaven on my sex partners is fine, if they prefer it, but on myself I don't feel it's worth the hassle.

I trim...shaving it all can get, um, too itchy or wet. As long as there's no weed-whacking necessary, my husband's happy He shaves completely, since before we met, and I love it. This might sound skanky...but it makes oral much more enjoyable

Not skanky at all. That's more or less, my thinking. I loved the smooth feeling and actually did the full brazilian waxing on myself. Hurt like hell but the result was awesome and it lasted without itchy stuble. Unfortunately, my wife likes some hair. So, now I just trim.

Both wife and I still love it when she is smooth. It definitely gives a VERY sexy school-girl appearance. She likes to wax as well and has bought the Sally Hanson home kits. We make a date of it and I actually do it for her when the kids aren't around. It usually ends up as a wonderful love making session.
Thanks for this!

You know where to get those Sally Hanson home kits? I haven't been able to find them around at the local stores.

My opinion of the shavings of a person's nether regions is that I approve of the general appearance on my partner and me. I personally dislike having hair down there ever since an accident with a zipper. While it doesn't appear to make the man's genitals look larger, it does make oral easier to perform, as Keep said. :P

All in all, my preference leans towards trimmed or clean-shaven.

Well trimmed or shaven on a female is acceptable and well trimmed or shaven for myself. Not a fan of bushes down there at all

I've tried looking everywhere I could possibly think of in Wal-Mart and couldn't find them.. Then I called and turns out this branch keeps them stocked in some odd wing of the store.

And the pubic hare thing.. Oh the lulz~ XD

I'm 15, a girl, and I shave the pelvic area and the thighs on the inside.

I have to cut the rest off completely with scissors.

I had to do this because it was growing too thick and it was making me itch.

Oh 15 year old girl. Careful with the scissors. I had a very painful accident once involving my clitoris and scissors. Never again.

both my wife and I trim but no shaving... we dont like the growing in itching, the ingrown hairs and prefer looking like adult women rather than looking like prepubescent children..

I am doing laser hair removal for my bikini area, going total brazilian. I don't like the unkempt bush look but hate shaving/waxing. So far so good the best money I've spent on personal grooming.

I shave every other day. Cannot stand having hair there.

I trim, but don't shave because of the itching. My partner is clean shaven, I do it for her. More successfully than mentioned above I think! Haha

You would think I'm disgusting and insane but I don't shave myself there, nothing would force me to do so. I warned my partner and he didn't seem to mind it that much. I don't force my man to shave his private parts, so I expect the same from him.
Thanks for this!

@Likewater: I'm a guy, but I swear I cringed when I read yours. OW.

Unrelated note...need to figure out how to work the "quote" feature.

At any rate, no...largely because I fear anything sharp around...well, you figure it out.

Bathony I have to ask, are you female, and if so, what do you during swimsuit season? Curiosity has me!
