Wife's Sexual Habit is Causing Issues

Ladies, I need your input here. My wife and I have had a great sex life but lately we've been having an issue that is causing us to avoid sex.

She's having a harder time achieving orgasms lately. We always seemed to get there but lately it's been very tough to get there and our chemistry seems to be off.

The thing is that she feels the need to straighten her legs (and close them, to a certain extent) to have an orgasm. Well, that can make it awfully hard to get to certain things. To me, it feels so much better for intercourse when her legs are spread wide and just plain easier for oral but she says she gets less feeling from that and all women want to do what she does. Is that true?

I've not really thought about it but yes she is right. I do get the urge to close and straighted my legs. But can orgasm without doing so There are some sexual positions out there that include the female keeping there legs shut, entering her behind is probably gonna be your best approach. Play around with positions make it part of you sex life you never know you both might have fun Also, i know you might find this a little embarasing, but read some womans magazines that have articles about improving sex/orgasms hope this helps

Haha. We haven't been able to do a position like that for 15 years. She's got some extra junk in the trunk these days and I'm just an average guy. I don't think I'd be able to quite get there if you understand me. That would be like deep-sea fishing with 4 feet of line!

Hmm, have you tried the slide style position with her legs up and closed? Haha, I'm not that experienced but I can't stand to keep them closed during. It hurts when done like that for me.

I might try that position and see how it work out. It doesn't seem like deep penetration is possible though and deep feels so nice. I just dont understand. When her legs are spread wide, her clitoris is VERY pronounced but when she closes her legs and straightens them, it pulls in and I can hardly find it. She says it feels better but has a hard time reaching orgasm. I have to thrust harder and faster which is very hard to maintain for very long before having my own orgasm.

Ultimately, I she always has an orgasm as well, one way or another, I guess I just like the old days when she could get there from almost any position. It's just frustrating.

Well, might have to bargain with your wife a bit. Let her know that you really enjoy the deep penetration and see if you can do a bit of a 50/50 kind of deal. Also, let her know how you want to be able to maintain the length of time in bed.

I am a woman. I have to have my legs straight just as your wife describes. It is possible to orgasm with my legs apart (sometimes) but not as pleasurable or easy. Some women need the centering of intensity; if we spread our legs out, the intensity is also spread out. Do you see? So we could have a mild, barely noticeable orgasm with legs spread as you describe. Why choose that, when we can straighten our legs and keep all the intensity in one great location? By the way, has your wife had a hysterectomy? And has she had children? OK, because after I had a baby, I could FEEL my uterus contract inside my body during orgasm, and that is terrifically intense. Before I had a baby, it felt as though the orgasm was coming from my clitoris. The uterus contracts when a woman has an orgasm, and that is part of the pleasure. If she has had a hysterectomy, especially if it was recent, she will no longer have a uterine contraction during orgasm so she learns to have a different, more clitoral, orgasm. It could then be impossible to orgasm with her legs spread wide and no uterine contraction so of course, she would want/need to center the tension around her clitoris by straightening her legs and clenching inward.
