Thanks everyone for the input on my previous thread! http://forums.psychcentral.com/showt...04#post2748304
From what I've gathered, a big majority of woman don't like/prefer not that their guy doesn't cross dress. And from seeing it here and other places, it appears the main reason why is because they want their man to be a "man". Why is that (for those of you that see it that way)? Why is your partner required to fit into the assigned label of the typical male? And also, do those of you that answered no live a mainly vanilla sex life? |

Why you be okay being with a woman who dressed or looked like a man?

I would actually. My GF doesn't anymore, but she use to when she was a lesbian before she met me. She was a butch. And she had a very dominant, powerful attitude and that's what attracted me to her. But if she still dressed/looked like she did when I first met her, I wouldn't mind.

I don't choose what I'm attracted to. Typical mail traits and physical characteristics just arouse me. I don't know why, but since most females are attracted to males and vice-versa, I'd say it's just natural. The goal of the species is to procreate, but I don't want children, so I'm settling for sex.

I think most women are just naturally drawn to men who "look" like men. I don't think it is a choice we make or anything; I think it is just more instinctive or built into our biology. Some people have variations on that biological "instinct". That's fine, but on the bell curve of life, those variations are the exception, not the rule if that makes any sense.

On my team at work, there is a cross-dresser guy. He has a beard and is dressed in regular clothing but his pumps, his patent leather boots, oh my! And they match the color of his T-shirt! And, it is just too funny. He is like a clown. I cannot be attracted to a person who is to THAT extent like a clown. I am very nice and friendly to him, but I cannot be sexually attracted. Plus, he really cannot pull off walking on high heels (I cannot either, but I know it and I wear comfortable shoes instead) - he looks ever so miserable and most definitely not sexually attractive! He is a lovely guy though.

I guess my sex life's on a diet right now. I haven't had sex in a long time, because neither my boyfriend (who lost interest first) and I haven't wanted to. Well, mentally, I want to, but physically, my body doesn't get horny like it used to.
![]() It was somewhat vanilla, but I like to drizzle some caramel on it and throw in some chocolate chunks, if you get my drift. I like a little kink, but I've never done or tried anything outrageously kinky.

I wouldn't go looking for a man who crossdresses or whatever but the BF that did sure was a lot of fun. Multitalented, he was.

I don't know how you define "vanilla" as it pertains to a person's sex life. Do my husband and I dress in each other's clothing? Heck no. But do we have a good sex life that leaves us both feeling great? Yes. "Vanilla" doesn't have to be unsatisfactory; my husband happens to love vanilla

Vanilla as in contains nothing outside of the ordinary man on woman sex. No one said vanilla is boring. Vanilla =/= normal

I think you and FarmerGirl agree. She talks about the bell curve of life, in other words, about the normal distribution. It is always easier to find partners if you happen to be in the thick of the bell curve. But, luckily, there is someone for the long tail as well, just not as many people. Cross-dressers are in the long tail, and SOME women - a few - would get attracted, but the majority would not. Hopefully, with the advent of the Internet that makes matching people according to their fetishes, special interests etc. easier than ever, it is becoming simpler and more straightforward for cross-dressing men to find women partners.

A bit of dressing up in the bedroom needn't be a problem.

For me even one earring (first H) was a bit of a problem. Ultimately, OK, but I was not overjoyed. I would not want anything that deviates from the male norm. I would not tolerate any amount of dressing up.

I love it! It's so hot. I especially love androgynous looking guys.
But then again...I am a female and often dress as a guy xD |

Oh I would be ALL over that, if I was single. In fact, the only man I could ever be with would be one who cross dresses, as long as he's doing it because he seriously is MtF and not just to be like "lol im in a dress". Androgynous is good too, for either sex...

There must be, since not all women think and like the same things. Even if most women don't like it, there are still many who surely do.

Yes, women have their own bell curve, too, and you will meet those who are stationed on its tail ends.

Personally I like my husband to be all man. Sex is a high point of our relationship and I c ould not imagine doing it with someone dressed like me. But as far as I am concerned to each his own. If cross dressing lights your fire you go for it
