This was my first date since last February, so almost a year. We went to dinner and then saw The Hobbit. I think as far as first dates go I think it went well. We're not at the romantic stage yet but the whole movie I couldn't stop thinking about holding his hand and wondering what he was thinking. I was a little nervous about meeting him for the first time (I found him on OKC!) but he is cuter in person and I definitely want to see him again.
Thanks for this!

I went on our second date today...we spent most of the day together and did a lot--we even went to Chuck E. Cheese's and played in the arcade! I'm not in love with him yet, which is to be expected, and we finally made it to hand-holding, as we were both shy and awkward, but we talked about a lot of stuff and I'm really liking him.

Glad your new potential relationship is going well! I've never eaten at a Chuck E. Cheese's...my boyfriend thinks it sounds gross (and since he has diabetes now, it's not a good place for him to eat). I shouldn't eat there, in hopes of not getting diabetes, but I'd like to see if they have anything yummy for me! (Desserts are my favorite!)

It's not a restaurant, it's basically an indoor children's playground like Scandia. They have tubes to play in and an arcade and you can host bday parties there. He and I played at the arcade.

For food they have pizza at a ridiculous price. ($30)

Congratulations. Going to chuck E cheese sounds like a great time. I'm 38, shh don't tell anyone I still like Chuck E Cheese. The one near us has a great salad bar. I munch while the kids play. Then I use up $5.00 in tokens and play that game where the lights go round and round and when it runs over the largest amount of tickets you stop the light on it and get that many tickets. Then I divide millions of tickets between my three kids so they can get a seriously overpriced bracelet or piece of candy.

Glad you found someone to have fun with. Take it slow and have fun.

That sounds like where I used to work, but we don't have them in the UK, I was the sad once who had to dance around the room and do kids parties, a tiring exhausting job when left with 20 something children to entertain!. When are you seeing him again? Xx

Happy you've had 2 nice dates DrSkipper. I'm happy for you and the fact he's taking you places, shows he's interested in more than just sex. I hope this evolves into a nice relationship. Best of luck.

I am loving okcupid. I haven't posted my pic or responded yet, but I love seeing how my potential matches answered the same questions I did. I'm learning a lot about myself and about what is out there.

My parents want to meet him in order to let him come over to our house, so tonight we're celebrating my birthday and he's coming over for dinner.
