I don't even know where to start. The first thing that I want to say is, I crave female attention and do my best to get it, but I've never had a relationship, not even a conversation of over 5 minutes with a female. I can't think of things to say, I get sweaty, but I want to meet women. I would like to get intimate, I feel like it would be fun, but I feel like I would explode in a panic attack.

Sexually I'm the weirdest case ever.

Have you ever considered starting these conversations on the internet? That would allow you to get to know someone without the same sense of urgency of reply (if you private message or email, rather than chatroom or whatever) so you can think of something to say before you do it and have a chance to think before you send... and if you get too anxious you can politely say you have to go "dinner is ready" "there's someone at the door" or whatever and she'll be none the wiser.

You might also like to consider researching any local self-confidence courses or related, which might be useful to you in at least bluffing how anxious you are feeling.

Pandoren has great suggestions, but in general the post seems to belong on the Anxiety, Panic, and Phobias forum more than on here.

http://forums.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9 would be the forum. It has many people who have been in your shoes with not just being close to having a panic attack but actually having panic attacks.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
