I'd say about 3 weeks ago I was walking home and I was punched in my lower abdomen and my phone was stolen. I am a female so it felt like I was punched in my uterus or something. The pain became so unbearable later on that night I decided to go to the e.r. but in fear of somebody coming after me because I said something I chose not to say what was going on where I live it is not so nice. So I just told them I was having pain and they decided to test my urine and told me I had a UTI. They gave me some medicine and pain killers which helped not so much. About a week after I went I felt better but decided I was gonna wait to have intercourse. Well after 3 weeks my boyfriend and I decided to try during everything was fine, but after I got a slight sharp pain in the area where I was punched. Now it is now 9:15 a.m. and the pain is a little worse it just stays there it not like its unbearable, but my question is. Should I go to my doctor and tell her what really happened so she can see if anything is wrong with me or wait and see if it goes away. Please if anyone has any advice or has been in a situation like this. Any help at all advice whatever please respond.

Hi! I definitely believe you should go to your doctor and tell her what really happened. Obviously you don't have a UTI. The punch could have done some damage and needs to be checked into. Pain tells us something is wrong. Okay? I hope you feel better soon.

Agree with that. Hope you're okay. BTW not reporting a crime will not prevent it from happening again. Find out if you're okay and then take care and stay safe.

The more information your doctor has the better. You don't have to say exactly the circumstances, but he should know it is physical trauma. If something just starts hurting it is more likely to be bacteria or viral. If you were punched it is less likely to be those things. If could be an interal bruise or something more serious. I would go back to the doctor and tell them it was a physical trauma that started the pain.

I agree, you need to see a doctor and give the full info. I understand being scared of retaliation, but it's not likely. You definitely want to make sure you're okay.

Definitely go to the Dr. The Dr. is there to help you not to make you press charges, or relive what happened. The Dr. is there to make sure you are safe and help you over come medical issues.
