As the title says, I have no virtually no sex drive. I never, ever get horny any more. I can get decently hard watching porn, but only with constant stimulation - if I stop touching myself for 5 seconds, I'm soft again. I used to be feverishly horny every day since I was 12, up until 4 months ago, which is when my libido started to gradually disappear completely.

I'm 18 years old. I don't smoke, drink or do any other drugs. I eat healthy, and I'm in good shape. I play music and hang out with friends a whole lot. Nothing in my life has really changed over the past year.

The condition is driving me crazy - I loved my sex drive, as it made me feel alive in a way that I currently don't. I used to have morning wood every day, and random, often rock-hard erections throughout. Masturbating used to feel like heaven. When I touch myself now, I feel nothing.

Please, share your knowledge. I am quite clueless as to what might be causing this.

(Also, why is there no message icon in the shape of a penis? Now I'll have to settle for an arrow, as it is, at least, a phallic symbol - but not satisfyingly so. Admins, get on it!)

You say it's disappeared. That suggests you had a stronger libido earlier. Can you say when it peaked? When did you first notice a decline?

That would be correct - it was very strong just a year ago. I would combat hourly with the urge to bust a nut, so to the point it was beginning to become less of a thrill than in my younger adolescent years, and more of a daily nuisance. Even so, I loved masturbating and I loved having sex, up until approximately three months ago, when it saw a very gradual decline.

In January, I still masturbated out of habit, but in February, I started to really lose all interest. I tried getting myself horny with more alternative porn, but it just wasn't there. At the time, I haven't masturbated for two weeks, and that time I only did it to avoid them nasty nocturnal emissions.

Please help. This condition is severely hunting my wumpus. I want to feel young, horny and appropriately sinister again.

Are you watching porn too often? ... because sometimes we just need a break from watching it or touching ourselves. There might also be an underlying cause like stress or depression that could lower the libido.

How often is too often? In my earlier teen years, I'd do it maybe five times a week. For the past two, it's been something like once or twice a week. Even so, there's always been an urge to masturbate, no matter how much or how little porn I've watched that month - but now it's gone completely.

Psychologically, I'm the best I've been in a long time. Right now, my life feels organized, relaxed and allround pleasurable. No matter how much of a rut I've been in, my sex drive has never been something I can't count on - fact is, I've gone through all the rough patches in my life with a raging boner.
