It varies a lot. I'm 19 (nearly 20) and a female and sometimes I'm really horny and I masturbate multiple times a day. And then I lose interest and don't do it for five days.

It varies a lot for me. When things are going good with my spouse I don't have much of a desire to masturbate. When things aren't going so good or she is on her period, then maybe a few times a week. When i am depressed I don't have any desire or energy.

At 17 it may be difficult to stop. I remember for me the desire for sex peaked around 18. I had to have it, was practically all I could think about.

If you feel wrong about self pleasure then maybe try limiting your opportunity for it. Get rid of any erotica magazine, DVD, and block x rated sites. Make a congnitive effort to avoid things that provoke you. Some medication have reduced sexual desire as a common side effect. Not sure if you are wanting to be that drastic.

Personally I don't find anything wrong with having a few knuckle babies if I have little bit of free time and the idea suites me. I mean your not hurting anyone. It is being done privately. (well it should, and if not that is something different). There are health benifiets to having an orgasm. A lot of people do it. No one really admits it, but I would say almost every adult has done it at least once.

Some people make it out to be dirty or shameful, but is it really any worse than sex?

well you see, i have a porn habit too and the minute someone tells me that porn is alright i start to indulge in it right then and there. And i even talked to a counselor at my school. He even admitted that he used to have a lot of friends who watched a lot of porn. I was like does porn and masturbation kill your brain cells? He's like,"nope."

Porn is just fantasy. That's all it is. It feeds into your fantasies and you can watch your fantasies be acted out. Porn isn't real because it is unrealistic to how relationships work. That's why people are so negative towards porn, because people think that you should focus more on real relationships than just watching porn.

I've been watching porn since I was 16 and I don't have a problem with it.

I think the biggest issue with porn is that it objectifies women and gives an unrealistic view on what sex is. You don't have to watch porn to masturbate. Lots of people can just do it without the extra stimulation.

Watch porn doesn't have much to do with making friends. No one can smell it on you or would care. I think they would care more if you took a bath this morning than if you watch porn last night. Although calling a girl a slut and expecting her to have sex with you most likely happen.

I agree, sometimes when I watch it I realize, damn, that's a horrible way to treat a girl, why would she want to be subjected to that, yet it still gets me off. As a girl, I don't think, "oh yes, I wish he'd do that to me." Because my fetish is femdom and I like to envision the guy being in the girl's position and I usually masturbate with the femdom role reversal after watching certain porn.

I wonder if maybe my fetish is due to watching porn, because you start off with basic porn and then eventually you start looking up weird porn and then it gets weirder and weirder. But I still don't have a problem with it, it just helps me explore my sexuality.

I don't have a problem with porn whatsoever. Yes, it objectifies women. It also objectifies men. However, if I were to say I've never been out in public looking and admiring guy's asses or arms from a distance, I'd be lying. I did that even before ever looking at porn. People naturally objectify the sex they are attracted to at some level. Porn doesn't cause the objectification; the objectification in porn is a result of what already exists in humanity.

There is a serious problem with the lack of porn for women. I'm a woman and I quickly discovered that I hate most porn that has a woman in it at all for that reason. I much prefer gay porn.

I went through the gay porn phase but realized that the majority of the men can't take a **** like a woman can. I've never seen "rough" gay porn, it's all very gentle and it's hard to stumble upon gay deepthroating, dp or many of the positions that women do.

but can't they tell by examining your eyes? for some reason, dark circles form around my eyes after I'm on the computer for too long.

without looking at a person's face, I cannot objectify them. If I just see a person's *** which i have not really looked at in public, I would be like darn, i don't really get much pleasure out of it since I can't see the face. in the same way, when I'm looking at porn, if I only see a guy's behind, I would be like seriously just cut straight to his face. i want to admire the face more than anything.
