Can someone explain this? Today I had a random orgasm for apparent reason. It was really awkward and weird. I'm glad I was alone at the time. It was just really weird.

As in "completely random" or as in "from a mere thought"?

There are classes females can take where they can bring themselves to orgasm without touching themselves. You may have inadvertently stumbled onto the method.

I once saw a story about a woman who had an orgasm everytime she sneezed. The brain control the orgasm and it is possible that it can just happen. It is not an everyday occurance, but I could envision the brain sending the wrong signal and it happening.

What were you doing at the time? Something that might have caused a certain friction that you didn't quite recognize as anything other than "good feelings" until it was past the point of no return?

I dated a girl who could have orgasms while riding on a motorcycle. The first time it happened, she said it kind of snuck up on her and she just went with it when she realized what was happening. Of course, she was on the back holding onto (actually squeezing kind of hard) me comfortably and not driving.

She really liked going riding after that .

It wasn't a mere thought. I was watching a movie when it just suddenly happened. It wasn't even a sexy movie or anything.

I have never had it (I have orgasms from a mere thought), but read this:

Yes its possible to happen without any physical stimulation. I usually don't talk about myself in this topic but did experience this from a dream. Just shows how important the brain is.

There are rare cases where the slightest vibration causes the female to crave sex or self pleasuring right at that minute. I saw this lady on Oprah with her husband and just driving in the car does it and she grew bothered by the inconvenience. This doesn't apply in your case but yes it can happen.

Thanks, I'm just glad I'm not in danger. I thought it might be something more serious. I get paranoid.

Apparently, women can have dangerous arousal and the just-released DSM-V should contain Persistent genital arousal disorder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, and sometimes it is accompanied by orgasms and sometimes it is not.

But you did not have that - you just had one orgasm out of the blue. You did not have unwanted persistent arousal.
