This thread is predominately aimed at guys..

As a guy I much prefer a women in little or no makeup.

A simple black or white poll which ignores the multiple shades of grey.

Do women look better with makeup or without?

women certainly shouldn't wear or not wear make up because of what some guy(s) think.

Everybody should clearly be entitled to free will.

The question was purely about if they look better natural or not.

I fully conceed that it can be about the psychological feeling it gives to the wearer along side many other factors are far more significant.

Sigh

A man should be entitled to have an opinion though. Just like women can be very opinionated about men.

Seriously. The question the way it is framed is very sexist and belongs perhaps in the men's section rather than here! Then it would be a guy-chat thing, rather than being appraisal of women in mixed company.

I used to sell avon and mary kay and loved it.The women i worked on just loved the way they looked after a facial, i used to do it for fashion shows and at the fair. I think every woman who it doesn't bother loves it too, it totally is a bit of a transorfmation. It can be expensive although, but it's worth it in the end.

hi Phreak a little makeup gives me a lift and makes me feel better about myself. I love lipstick but I'm afraid that it is too dark so I'm careful not to over do it. my oldest once was surprised to find out I wore makeup, so it must be pretty subtle or he just doesn't notice such things, could be either or.

There's obviously nothing wrong with using a little makeup, I just feel a lot of the time people really over do it.

True beauty shines from within, I don't understand why women use makeup as "war paint" and kill their natural looks with 10 inches of foundation etc.

N.B. I only started this thread after reading the "do you wear makeup" thread.

very true, and believe me, we love guys that like us without makeup!! personally, I rarely wear jewelry and don't like shopping for clothes, so I just like adding a little color to my face. also I'm really pale so it helps with that.

Also, and for what it's worth, women mainly dress up to impress themselves and other women ... Rarely is it to impress the guys.

I'm a woman and I prefer to not wear makeup. I only wear makeup if I'm going to attend some fancy function where everyone is dressed to the nines. hehe. But I think au natural is the way to go. Also I don't think a man should have much of a say in whether or not a woman wears makeup. I think it's my choice and my choice alone.

Very true.

A contoured T with a well-fitting pair of jeans would suffice for the guys.

I wear very long Indian skirts embellished with mirror bits are worn to impress myself, other women including my female T, those-men-who-appreciate-the-creative-expression-part-of-clothes, and... to be in harmony with the universe!

Jeans is my style!! And right now, it's shorts season. I do have some long flowing summer dresses, and I just appeal to my height and athleticism.

I agree. Usually, for me, dressing up, or just dressing nice and presentable and wearing make-up ARE to leave myself feeling better.

I had so many years of low self esteem, an abusive marriage and just frankly, it feels nice to present outward, what I am feeling on the inside

Thanks, PFrog!!!

May you feel so great on the inside for the rest of your days, and the presenting outward would follow suit .

It depends on the woman. I look like death warmed over without it, lol. To each her own.
