I don't know why. I've done it many times and with different people so I know it's not that they're bad kissers. I just genuinely don't like it at all and it feels really weird and pointless to me. All I find myself thinking is, is it almost over. I like kissing on other body parts but not the mouth, and I just find it strange because everyone else seems to like it so much, and the person I'm kissing seems to, but I just don't, at all. Anyone else like this, or is something wrong with me, or what do you think? I do wonder if I'm a lesbian instead of bisexual. But then again maybe it's just kissing in general that I don't like. I've never kissed a girl so I can't compare.

I used to dislike making out and I had a few relationships where we would only give each other small kisses on the lips, no tongue.

It's not obligatory to like all coupled acts. Society may like to make you think it is, but it's not. It's perfectly ok not to like kissing (although it might be very confusing for the person you are with). Of course, only you can decide if this is indicative of anything to do with your orientation. If you are sexually attracted to both sexes, not liking kissing does not disqualify you from being attracted to one sex.

You're certainly not alone. Movies make you think that kissing is am-a-zing, so I was really confused when I discovered that it was actually... rather... crap.

However, I have always had a, erm, problem with saliva. I think saliva is absolutely disgusting, and I hate to see it or think about it. Mouths are icky. I have suspicions that this may be the reason, or at least one reason, why I dislike kissing. But I'm pretty sure that, even without this problem, kissing would still be sort of boring. It was for me, even if I wasn't thinking how icky it was.

Yep, it's totally icky and boring. I don't understand how people like it.

I too hate kissing. Mingling saliva is so gross. My partners had always find it strange while some have actually said that I'm good kisser. But, I always found it yuck.

I didn't like it either, although I've only made out with one person when I was a teen. The thing that bothered me was even traces of facial hair (he was shaved...and 14, so it wasn't like there was enough facial hair there to bother a normal person.

I went from having strong feelings for him to not being able to even be near him just by making out with him.

So I've never really been with anyone since in any way (not even a kiss with no tongue) and the whole thing made me question my sexuality and I'm still confused about it.

So, there could be various reasons why you don't like it, or maybe you simply don't like it. If it doesn't bother you that you don't like it, then I'd just go with it. If you don't like making out and don't want to like it, people should respect that.

I, however, really really want to like it, so I think there's a difference between me and others on this thread.

I have never made out. I have read a lot about it on here, but it still does not make sense to me. I just have had sex with people. Sure, there were situations when the guy I was with an I limited ourselves (due to being in public transit, or, because of the unstated agreement not to have full blown sex for a reason that seemed very valid then), but the idea of somehow not quite having sex on purpose just for the sake of it, and not due to having some limitations that are at least to some extent outside of our control... seems entirely bizarre to me.

You might try some tender lip sucking, biting & kissing rather than full blown saliva mixing tongue wrestling French kissing !!
