So I am pretty sure I'm bi, and I'm pretty sure I'm okay with it. I offered to be the advisor to the gay/straight alliance at the school I work for. And although I am a teacher, someone suggested (on this site I think) that I order a rainbow bracelet or keychain, so I could keep it on or on my chain - people who know what they mean will be able to identify me. Kind of like wearing my own little badge of honor. I'm kind of excited.

I think it would be great, in the liberal academia setting you work in. Should be exciting indeed.

Congrats, doggie. I was a little bit of a late bloomer myself. It blows me away today when I hear that kids are coming out practically before hey hit puberty!

You could also consider a bracelet/keychain that's pink/purple/blue, as that's more symbolic of "bisexual" specifically. And hey, you could always wear both.

Yea I know about the early thing. Fascinating and great that they can identify so quickly and just be who they are. It makes me happy for them.
