Sorry to hear that Doc. Did he mention any reason behind why he didn't show? Maybe something out of his control popped up...granted, he should've called you to let you know, but still.

On the chance he didn't, I'd simply say it's his loss, and no loss to you at all. If he doesn't respect you enough to show up for a date, you're better off without him.
