Ever since I've been on mood stabilizers and antidepressants for bipolar disorder, my sex drive has been in the tank. My boyfriend's sex drive is stronger than mine and he'd like to have sex every night we're together if I was up for it.

Any suggestions for keeping the spark alive without the mania?

You need to tell the pdoc and request a change in meds. Hopefully you can eventually find an inoffensive cocktail. The pdoc must work to help you with this.

I agree with hamster as well. Having tried multiple combinations of meds for my bipolar disorder, I can attest that some do impact libido negatively. This is not something you have to accept however. Talk with your doctor and try a different combination. You will eventually find THE one. Until then, humor your boyfriend like a trooper.
Thanks for this!
