To make a long story short. I hooked up with a guy friend and snuck out at 3am. We made out a bit in his basement. When we started to get into having sex, he was having some... Difficulties I don't know if it was cause of me or him but he was having a hard time with erection and said I was a bit tight despite not being a virgin. He seemed really defeated. I thought it was me but his appearance said other wise and he said this was the first time this has happened to him. Is this normal?

Yes it's normal. All kinds of things can cause a guy to have difficulty getting an erection. If he was drinking, had taken prescription or non-prescription drugs, anxiety all can cause erection issues. Also if he wasn't fully erect it would be harder to have intercourse so it could seem like it was you when it was actually him.

Maybe you rushed into things? Men can need just as much time as women to become prepared - perhaps next time you'll have a better idea of when you want to be with each other and that will lay a good foundation for satisfying sex?

You've moved on already? Was this just a few hours ago or a couple a days?

Whatever the case, "ifst5" makes a good point and whether you've moved on to someone else, you can definitely learn from the experience and improve the next sexual encounter you have.

Good luck...
Thanks for this!

It is normal. Most men are embarassed about it but honestly, it's normal. Also with young guys. Especially if they're drunk. I sometimes feel sorry for them though, girls do talk... I mean it's not something I go around telling people, but once I was drunk I told a girl who had messed around with the same guy as me for a while that the one time we almost got into he couldn't perform... She told me the same had happened with her. I'm not proud of telling though although I don't think telling her was so bad as she had been intimate with him aswell. I wouldn't tell anyone else, it's no one's business and it's not really a big deal.
