I think I'm bi, but people keep telling me that I do things for attention and I'm scared that this is too. At first I was scared that I was bi, but now I'm ok with it , I'm just scared that I'm somehow faking or forcing it. btw I jerk to both and enjoy it I just can't tell if I'm forcing it or not.

Try not to worry if you're forcing it or not. There's no test for if you're "actually bi", you don't need to have a certified bisexual license to date people of multiple genders. Do what seems right or good for you, pursue the people you're interested in. If you do that, I don't think it's possible to be "faking" or pretending anything.
Thanks for this!

^ This.

Don't worry about shoe-horning yourself into a category. Sexuality is a spectrum, not a series of tight fighting categories. As Seraphic says, just purse who's right for you and don't stress the labels.

Well ... attempted to say. Holy sheep my quote is full of typos!

Tight fitting - not fighting (what the heck's a fighting category anyway!?)
Pursue - not purse

And I'm pretty sure I misspelled "a", but I'll have to look that one up ...

You are YOU . You don't need to label yourself, explain yourself to others, or rationalize what you do to make others comfortable. You are a human that is attracted to humans .

First of all, the people who say you're just doing it for attention need to f*** off. Most bisexual people get that all the time because bigots can't understand that we're attracted to more than one gender.
Secondly, if you think you're bisexual and choose to identify that way then you are bisexual. Something I hear quite often is "how do you know you're bi if you've never been with a *certain gender*?" If you feel attracted to both genders that's a pretty good indication. And it's possible to be sexually attracted to one gender and romantically attracted to another. It's possible to have preferences. For me, I have a romantic preference for males (about 70% leaning toward males) but a sexual preference for females (about 75-80%). Don't feel like you're not "truly" bisexual if you have a preference or haven't been with both genders or get turned on in different ways by different genders. Hell, someone who's five percent attracted to the same gender and ninety five percent attracted to the opposite and calls themselves bi is still bi in my book. You don't have to worry yourself so much about it. It's confusing but I guess that's just a part of life. Cheers

It's OK if you're bi. It's also OK if you call yourself bi now and feel like that's not right later and call yourself something else.

I carried the "maybe I'm just doing it for attention" worry way too long, for years and even into college. Don't do that to yourself, just do what makes sense to you.

if you are turned on by both men and women, you probably are. Why question it? I think if you were "faking" it you would not have posted here. The sooner you accept it, the sooner you will be happy with it.

Ditto what others have said. I have chatted with a good number of people who were struggling with identity/orientation. There's no one way to know for sure, and I think there are different types of "bi." If you wish to strike up a conversation, I'm happy to talk this through with you.

Peace!!
