a warning (i dono how bad my post really is, i did my best to keep it serious and profanities free, but just in case)

so i am really, REALLY horny. i am 20yo,have a bf, still a virgin and i am also terrified of sex. but omg i wanna have sex. i feel the physical need. I'm not pressure by the society or my peers. there is no pressure to have intercourse except when i get pressure inside, telling me i want some effing friction. am i alone? is everyone doing it besides me? how do i deal with this?! how do i over come my fear of closeness and being open w/ another human being on intimate level?
tips?

Well it possibly might be tied to simply something new. We're all scared of doing new things and especially letting ourselves be vulnerable both physically and emotionally. So in that case I think the importance is in finding a partner to whom you have an emotional connection and can make you feel comfortable when you let your guard down.

Is there anything in your past that might have led to the fear of intimacy? Maybe something bad like assault or even mild like abandonment issues from a divorce? Those things can make getting close to someone difficult as well and are best discussed with a counselor.

Finally, no, you're not alone. A quick scan of this forum and you'll see there are plenty of people just like you.

OMG I was in your same boat! I lost my virginity at 21 and I am constantly horny but terrified of sex too. I've only had sex three times since then.

What about sex terrifies you?

Do you know how to masturbate? That should tide you over when you are extremely horny.

who says you have to have your clothes off. I have issues related to touches. So I keep my shirt on and my socks on. Noises, well I think the other person you are will will be pleased with noises. The only person that may make feel weird is you, and believe me, you will be so busy doing other things that noise won't matter.

The person you are will will know you on a different level. They should know you at that level before you have sex any way.

Good luck.
