OkCupid and POF is getting me nowhere. I'm trying eHarmony for free. Is it worth it? Does it really work?

I am currently using the free version. The thing is, most people on eharmony are at LEAST in their 30s, and I am 22. I don't want to pay for something that doesn't cater to me. But I do have marriage in mind, so I'm not on eharmony for the hookups or short term dating.

I've done it, and got a couple of dates out of it. Now the last person I dated ended up dumping me because she thought I was a little boy (almost 33+ male virgin, not full time with the state in my job). The one issue I have with eHarmony is that they want me to expand my radius of matches to include those that are two to three hours or more driving. If you do get a match, the communication process is a little more drawn out than on other sites.

I met my husband on match.com I signed up during a free 3 day weekend trial deal thing they had going. Hubby emailed me the first night. I also had a couple other guys email me. After the trial was up, I just cancelled it because I already knew I'd found a keeper in my husband.
He paid for a 6 month subscription, found me after 2. I cancelled my subscription after the free weekend, and didn't have to pay at all! I hope you have good luck with it! |
