I miss sex so much. In the past year, we've done it exactly once. I dream about it all the time and wake up next to him with an overwhelming sense of disappointment. He won't discuss it with me. I don't know why he won't touch me. Sometimes I wonder if cheating is the answer, but I've never done that before and don't intend to start now.

Caught between a rock and a not-so-hard place. :-(

I had the same issue with my ex-wife. I never cheated but looking back I rather regret not doing so. I'm not suggesting that you start, but have you suggested counseling? There could be some medical issues that are causing him so embarrassment that could be the root cause.

We did counseling, and he just refuses to discuss it. He also refuses to see a doctor.

Isn't this a relationship that you have said is over, hes not supportive at all in any way , but you are stuck and have no where else to go ? I understand your frustration with the lack of sex. Can you just pleasure yourself to ease the tension and continue to work on finding a way to move out and start a life without him in it?

Good luck

Trust me, I've been going nuts trying to find a way to move out. There just isn't one. My disability hearing is still months away. I'm so frustrated with everything at this point. I thought since I was stuck here I'd try to make the best of it, but it seems like there IS no best.

Well, in answer to your first comment Gloamingone ... don't cheat. It's dishonorable and attacks your character. Trust me, I COMPLETELY understand where you're coming from, but don't compromise your character because he won't step up and demonstrate character himself.

Right now it sounds like you're stuck until that disability hearing. I think it's time to start emotionally and mentally divorcing yourself from the situation. Once the hearing is done and you've got disability and means, then it's time to move on. Plan for the future when it will be better, you've been tough enough to get this far, only a few months and you'll be on your way to better times.
