I'm like wow.

I get it but don't get it. My gender is defined by the alter up front, which can change every minute, or hours.

One minute its like yeah, the next it's like huh?

I'm sorry, I'm 55% fem, but the other 45% I'm male, totally. It sucks being DID. I don't know who I am, but I think I am! Or not???

Or it changes the other way with different percentages with a touch of nongendered often.

I'm a freaking salad.

Sorry, I do get it. Bless you all. Ignore the others that talk without thinking.

I'm just happy he found his deal. Everytime I think I know who I am, the next minute I'm who I am, then wham I'm who I am again. Tiring

It's like a lifetime thing, so I'm pretty used to it which makes it an okay thing. Crazy? Lol

I always thought my second husband looked like a mini me of bruce jenner. Except that my ex was shall we say extremely in touch with his feminine side. Like way more than i am with mine! So this has had me going - ive known this since 19 freakin 80. I just didnt know i knew. Life is funny.

I watched Bruce Jenney, and he/she sat, walked, talked, squawked like a dude. No offense, but I didn't see a lick of feminism in him except the shaped eyebrows. Am I wrong about this? I can't help but to feel like it's a publicity stunt? Please forgive me, but...

Yeah, he struck me more as someone who prefers to dress up as a woman than someone who thinks of themselves as a woman. If he wants to dress up that's fine but going too far is going to far. I've known people stuck in the wrong gender and they still exhibit more characteristics of the gender they believe they are than the gender they're stuck in. It's more than the clothes.

But doesnt that kinda describe the lady kardashians? What gender are they, exactly? If you have to super-defuzz yourself to be feminine? Push this in, pump that out? What attracted himto them in the first place? I split with my h because gender mattered to him, in a way that it did not matter to me. But i think it matters to the jenners and kardashians in the same way. Not a way i will ever understand, but thats because MY parents were cross-gender. Its very confusing!!
Thanks for this!

I was reading his biography on Wikipedia and it says he started transgendering in the 1980s but stopped when he met/married Kardashian in 1991. It sounds like your feelings AlwaysChanging are not that unusual? He's been feeling and working with it since a boy he said.

Lol, not unusual for someone affected with Multiple Personality Disorder.

I just deal with being in the wrong body, wrong sex, wrong look, wrong reflection, wrong voice, wrong thoughts, wrong pronouns...too many wrongs in my world.

After reading all that, "wrong" sounds so weird.

I think he did the best thing possible to be honest.. he was being hounded by the press, yes he is a celebrity, But still bullshyt, he deserves privacy.

I was very intrigued actually, I think he brought Transgender out of the shadows.

As for him going all the way? thats his personal choice and no its shouldn't be broadcasted or even something he should be asked in the future, of course he will be asked... because the public feels they deserve to know everything about his life.

I am glad he handled himself well in the interview. I feel he was as honest as possible and on his terms. It is rude to expect him to parade around like a prized pony.

He also said it is fine for now to refer to him as "he or him" yes he said that will change.

I am glad that his family is supportive and wants to protect him during such a rough road. He feels free now, he can lead the life he has wanted for years. Good for him , Life is short he has the love of his family, and really that is what matters.

Yeah good question AC.... I really hope he did it just because he is bringing transgender more outta the shadows and into the light.

Did anyone pay attention during the interview? Diane Sawyer announced quite clearly that this interview would be the last interview Bruce Jenner did as Bruce Jenner. No, he has not made the full transition to "her" yet, but he did reveal he's been out in public as "her" unbeknownst to others. This is not a publicity stunt... He talked about that, even. Did you guys really watch the interview, or what?
Good for him, I say. He seems more at home with himself than ever. Goodbye Bruce. Hello ...her.
His kids are very supportive too... I have hope for humanity thanks to seeing that interview.
