Today some guy was making fun(?) Of my art, because I was embarrassed saying "yeah it's pretty gay." And he said "are you gay?" And I said "no-well. I'm not straight, but I'm not gay either." He asked if I was bisexual and I said "well,no,it's like that though, just even more. I'm pansexual. I would date males females and nonbinary. He was confused. I used transgender as an exaplmple because some straight/bi won't date them because they don't view them as " real" men/women (which is rude and stupid)he asked "you'd date a tranny?" (Which pissed me off. I said "one of my exes is transgender." and he smiled widely, snickering and whispering to his male friend. This ticked me off. He kept referring to them as "trannies" which got me pissed and I calmly told him not to use that word. He asked about my sexuality further, asking if I thought his female friend was hot. I replied honestly. "I'm not interested in her, or people in general in that way." He was confused, "you don't use that word? What do you call them? Sexy??" And I said "no. I just said I am not interested in that way. I don't really have a sex drive." He again, whispered to his male friend. Which made me angry and self conscious. He asked if I ever tried, I said "I'm not interested in sex. " wanting to leave it at that
He asked again. "But have you tried? How do you know you don't like it?" I wanted to reply "because I know what I do and do not like" but I was more and more mad by the second and knew he'd keep asking. I coldly replied "not Consensually." He whispered to the guy and I was very angry and anxious and sick and felt a little like crying. Among the whispers I hear "did you hear what she said? Not /Consensually/ " he looks over at me again and its that same stuoid face but with another expression, too. I said "yes that is implied." And I'm so upset I let that slip. I don't tell some of NY BEST FRIENDS that, I can't believe I told some dumb strangers my last problems, I hated myself and wished he didn't pry about my sex life. I feel like he got a ****ING kick out of it, and I hate myself and everything I feel...I don't know.

It's possible he was just really immature and not equipped to say the right thing. Which is a lot of kids.. It's tough being wise behind your age

King, you were sticking up for yourself that is commendable in and of its self, you slipped and shared too much. It is not the end of the world sweetie. I am glad that you know who you are and what you want in your life. Guys like that think they can get in your head and he was doing exactly that, shake it off. I don't want to be cliche with that advice, but move forward and try to forget. Do not get down on your self, it could have been worse and you could have belittled or berated him and fallen to his level. You seem very intelligent, if we as the smarter person falls to the level of someone's stupidity we are acting as they are. I proved that point in another post. I got caught by a headline with out thinking, hey someone could get offended about what is said here or what I am saying here. Smile love you are unique and you are uniquely loved. Thank you for sharing this issue.
