Hello I have an issue with my fetish, Im very turned on by women who either have a chubby belly or women who gain a lot of weight (around 20 or 30 pounds) I would love to rub a girls belly and play with it and have eat large amounts of foods until her belly sticks out like shes pregnant. the reason I bring this up is because this is an uncommon fetish and many girls wouldn't accept this since many women want to lose weight. also theres this girl that I like who lives in my town.....but shes very very skinny! (like really skinny) she has a great personality and a great smile but im afraid my "fetish" may get in the way since I look on youtube and other sites to look a pics of chubby/fat women. my question is should I pursue this girl knowing my fetish is strong, or try to find a chubby girl who is in to this? also can a fetish be controlled even if your partner may not be into it?

hi jclown
all you have to do is look to the media to see how many relationships/lives have come undone because people have not been able to control their fetishes. super skinny girl is probably going to be unlikely to want to gain weight for you and discovering your internet activity would in the least make her insecure and cause problems in the relationship. there are lots of heavyset girls who would love the fact that you would love them for their body type. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome

Hi jclown. Welcome to Psych Central. Sorry you are conflicted about how and who to be in a relationship with. For me, finding common ground is more important than fetishes or passion. These things usually do not form the basis of a lasting relationship. The problem with playing with women's bellies is that it can get you involved in having a baby before you have established a solid relationship.

Many people here at PC find they can share these feelings and what they are going through with the confidence that people go through similar things and can empathize. So many forums are offered as well as Chatrooms (after you have 5 posts or comments on others posts). Depression chat meets on Thursday night at 9pm EST and Anxiety Friday at 8PM EDT EST.

You can also be an active member in other ways like supporting others in their questions, reading articles and posts http://forums.psychcentral.com that are applicable to your area of concern.

JC, First welcome to PC. Second, enjoy your fetish with someone who is willing to let you do it. Trying to make a shoe fit isn't good. I have a few fetishes of my own and when I am with someone, I don't share them if I know that they aren't into it.
I am not going to get into my fetishes but my biggest is that I am into BDSM and I am a Dom, I like having someone being submissive to me. Fortunately, I can use this by taking control sometimes in bed without having to actually tell someone that this is part of who I am. The person I am with know actually likes that I take the lead in bed.
If you like BBW's look for them they are out there and they want someone to love them and appreciate them just like everyone else does. If you like that girl, you can like her for her and show your fetish to her. Most of us like to live in our fantasy/fetish lives, however they can't always be realistically brought out.
If you need to look up stuff online every once in a while. Do it. If you get involved with anyone. I would cation not to explore your online interests, unless you meet someone who you first talk to and explain your issue.
Keep it real man and let me tell you life is full of fun, so enjoy.

Hello dear Jclown and I'd like to offer you a big WARM WELCOME to Psych Central, a place where we can all share our innermost feelings without being judged.
Not quite sure where to start, except I've watched a great amount of TV series and docs about men or women who share their love of the bigger female. It's quite weird because I'm both anorexic and bulimic, meaning I am what most people would describe as slim or if I'm lucky, thin!!! Yet, I still defo understand how and why mostly men have a ''thing'' for nice round cuddley chubby women!! My sister got married to the only man in her life (and still with him after 25 years) when she was topping the scales at 16 stones, ending up as 18 stones more than 200lbs!! She then had radical weight loss surgery, cutting most of her tum away, which she ended up weighing around 80llbs...................yet her husband loved her the same and strangly, her kids preferred her at her heavy weight. What I'm getting at is we all come in different packages, but our inner selves remain the same. That skinny bird you mentioned, I'm really devided in my thoughts as to whether you'd be really happy in the long run. If you are fairly young, I'd honestly say just sit it out and see what arrives. You KNOW you love cuddly, round and comfortable, so I'd say go with that flow for now. Ultimately it's up to you of course. I hope you can keep coming back to Psych Central and share your feelings hun. XXXXXXXXX
