TRIGGER!!!

Does anyone have a problem if their lover has had too many partners?

Is it different for males or females?

Do condoms matter?

What kind of relationship is it where your lover has multiple (too many) partners? I assume it's an open relationship...

I'm guessing that you're discussing past sexual partners. Like "I slept w/this # of people etc."
Hearing that number can be an issue, but I'm also older & come from a very conservative background.
Yeah I think it can effect your psyche if that number needs to be explained somehow. Does it correlate to the persons age.

For example id have an issue hearing that a 20 yr old had 5-10 or more partners. But that's just my opinion & yes I think knowing if they practiced safe sex would make a difference to me.
Just MHO though.

Yes, as a female I can be uncomfortable hearing the list of prior sexual partners. Even more so now, since I contracted an STD from a man I dated for many months and swore he was clean. I myself am very conservative in who I select as a sexual partner so it can be uncomfortable for me and confusing with partners of mine who have been more liberal in their sex life and with whom. I have found males that are as selective as me, though. So I think it is more a personality and value system thing and not a gender thing.

Good answer. I think age matters too, like you grow out of promiscuity.

I think to say "too many" may be judgmental, which is different from "risky behavior."

Let's remember that every partner you sleep with includes their former partners as well so that number grows exponentially.
I'd have no issues saying "too many" to someone bec it's just so easy to lie.

That is a good point. I am all for freedom of sexuality, but current day promiscuity is a turn off.

It is like you do it when you are younger and get it out of your system.
